InterAct Participates on Panel of Women in Engineering

January 26th, in Norwalk, CA, InterAct's Engineering Manager, Val Lerma, participated on a panel of Women in Engineering at Cerritos Community College, presenting to young women of a variety of ages. The panel consisted of 6 women engineers from different career paths, age groups and industries. All shared their stories and experiences and answered questions from participants. The event included time for one-on-one interaction. Val continually encourages and educates upcoming engineers by sharing her 30+ years of experience as an engineer, whether it be in the form of presentations like this one or industry courses she teaches in the area of her expertise. Val was selected as the keynote speaker for the petroleum engineering graduating class of 2015 and has been selected as the API speaker for scholarship recipients in 2016 in Ventura
