The California State Lands Commission enters into contract with InterAct PMTI

The California State Lands Commission has entered into a contract with InterAct PMTI to address the safe plugging and abandonment (P&A) of legacy orphan wells along the southern California coastline.  The call-off contract will involve engineering analysis, cost estimates, and feasibility analysis along with CEQA compliance and coordination. The initial focus of study will be the Summerland area where InterAct successfully re-abandoned a leaking oil well in March 2018, highlights of that project are shown above.
